Tropical Hot Sauce I Guess

The Ghost Hot Sauce Review

Today I picked up a bottle of hot sauce at a cool spice and hot sauce shop in Tarpon Springs, FL called the Spicemans Kitchen. This is The Ghost Hot Sauce. It is an extremely hot sauce that features the Bhut Jolokia peppers which are hotter than habanero peppers. With that being said, the first ingredient on the list is the Bhut Jolokia (ghost peppers) so that dominates the sauce. The ingredient list is nice but I really don't taste any of the fruit and tropical flavors. I was intrigued by the ingredient list but the ghost peppers are the only thing you can taste. If you like your hot sauce insanely hot, I would recommend this sauce. I will try it in some foods later but just tasting it straight from the bottle, it had an intense building heat. It kind of had a smokey flavor to it which was strange. All in all though, I think this will do well with food in moderation of course and if you like insanely hot sauces, I recommend it.

I would give this hot sauce an 8 out of 10 for it's intense heat and cool label.
